This is by far Stocktons hidden gem! My girlfriend told me about this place and I've been hooked on it ever since! The food is amazing! The double cheeseburger is off the charts! My favorite is the chicken dinner! Five stars across the board for this awesome establishment!

FOOD IS PRICEY- 2 piece chicken dinner side of corn, broasted potato's and garlic bread. The corn should be taken off the menu. It's a frozen piece that's so gross. It's mushy and just plain nasty. An avocado burger, a chicken sandwich, fries and a side of broasted potato's, two large drinks( which are actually a medium size) 4 sauces- 61$$$$$ food was as great as we remember but the corn was always a fave of mine- but not this time!

Growing up in the area, this place has always been a staple in our house hold. Our go to sandwiches are the Carmel and the chicken sandwiches. A great pairing would be the Carmel and a piece of chicken added, but with inflation a piece now is $10+. The prices were shocking. Sandwiches are still great tasting. The wait could be a little bit, but food still taste fresh.

I can tell they're trying to rebuild their reputation! Manny's has always been a favorite hometown spot for me. I grew up with it and always make a trip there when visiting home. After moving from Stockton about 14 years ago, I knew things were declining from what friends and family had experiences -- mostly regarding service and quality, but I knew from their social media, ownership changed and efforts were made to reestablish themselves in the community. I came in recently while visiting family and was pleased with our visit. We came for dinner on a Saturday evening. It was clean and the staff was very friendly and thorough. The breast of chicken sandwich is my go-to order and I was impressed -- the quality was as I remembered and it was BIGGER/LONGER! Also, their fries changed, in a good way. They're very reminiscent of the fries at Payter's (RIP, I miss their fries and shakes). I really hope Stocktonians will give Manny's another try!
